Lin Lei hesitated, "It says in this booklet that upon entering the ancient relic, the first step is to role-play as a townsfolk in a deserted town, to get closer to the relic."

Mr. Lu nodded, then explained, "This ancient relic was originally an old Blessed Land, which essentially served as a large-scale Pure Land sheltering the Human Clan."

"But in a large-scale Pure Land, once blood is spilled and creatures die, tragedies ensue."

"This Blessed Land, however, has no such worries, so it is more like a fortress."

"Based on what we currently understand, the previous Master of the Blessed Land, even if not from the Human Clan, must have held great benevolence towards us; that’s why... such an old town remains preserved!"

"Role-playing as citizens is meant to get close to the residual consciousness of the previous Master and receive favorable treatment from it."

Mr. Lu continued so, then with a smile added, "How much have you discerned?"

But Lin Lei frowned and said, "As I see it, role-playing as townsfolk seems to involve four possible Transformations."
