Demonic Skeleton God

Chapter 148 - 10 Months

Flain spread his wings in the center of the valley and flew to the top. With his sword, he made a small hole in the ceiling and flew out.

He transformed into his human form and began running forward at full speed. After an hour, he passed the city that he and Itai had visited first. Back then, it took them two days to get there, but now it took Flain only one hour.

Many people turned their heads toward Flain since Enlightened usually don’t travel at full speed, but instead ride in carriages, as traveling the way Flain did would drain their stamina very quickly.

But those who noticed him soon turned their heads away, thinking he was some poor Enlightened who didn’t have the money to rent a carriage.

Flain continued running for another day until he arrived at the Imperial City. Many carriages were arriving at the Imperial City, so all Flain had to do was ask the people in them which direction the Imperial City was, and he could be certain he would arrive correctly.

Events were unfolding in the Imperial City just as they did in attempt 13. Flain bought the house where Ghosty was originally located for 150 gold and began training.

An hour passed, and Flain heard a knock on the door and also sensed a very specific ME, so he knew who it was. But it briefly surprised Flain — how could that person know about Flain if they hadn’t met yet in this attempt?

Flain guessed it was probably due to his innate talent.

Flain went to the door and opened it. A young man with pale gray hair and eyes stood there.

"Hey Flor," Flain said with a smirk.

"In the middle of the day, foreign memories barged into my head. When I went through them, I understood. Hello Flain," Flor said with a smile.

"How far do those memories go?" Flain asked.
