Qingran nestled at Xie Ying’an’s home, playing with the lop-eared rabbit all morning, and her downcast mood finally began to settle.
After her mood settled, she started thinking about studying again.
There’s still a month left for the physics final competition. Just a couple of days ago during class, Teacher Wu had hinted that those participating in the physics final should ideally find a tutorial class during the summer holiday to study some more.
After lunch, she and Xie Ying’an nestled in the study to learn, and Zhao Yan didn’t disturb them; instead, she sat on the couch with the teary-eyed pitiful rabbit blowing air-conditioning, meanwhile chatting with her young sister far away in a foreign country.
Around three in the afternoon, Liu Luoxi, Ruan Ruan, and Li Qingmo also came over.
Li Qingmo, as much at home in Xie Ying’an’s place as his own, didn’t need Zhao Yan to entertain him; he knew his way around and grabbed a bottle of ice water from the fridge.
Ruan Ruan noticed the rabbit nestled in the corner at first sight. She crouched down and stared at the little rabbit intently for a long time, her gaze burning.
Seeing that Ruan Ruan had looked for so long, Liu Luoxi, who was chatting with Zhao Yan, got distracted and glanced at the rabbit.
Being a straightforward girl like Li Qingmo, she just thought the rabbit looked purely white and ugly, not seeing anything appealing about it.
After finishing his ice water, Li Qingmo looked around the living room and didn’t see the person he was looking for, so he asked Zhao Yan: "Aunt Zhao, did Li Qingran not come?"
"She’s doing homework in the study." Zhao Yan pointed towards the study.
