Chapter 116 - 112: Female Lead’s Halo 3
Xie Ying’an’s mind worked quickly, and surprisingly his writing speed could keep up with his fast thinking.
Just as Wen Shiyi put down the chalk, Xie Ying’an had nearly finished solving the problem.
Qingran had only written less than half. She really couldn’t do anything about it; standing at the podium with Wen Shiyi, even though she knew how to solve the problem in her head, she simply couldn’t write it down when it came to putting pen to paper.
It was a bit like some unexplainable magic.
Back when she was doing problems in the classroom, at the very least, she was able to write down the answers, even if they all turned out wrong in the end.
This time was Qingran’s first direct confrontation with the legendary protagonist’s halo. Aside from not feeling great, all that was left was the sense that she couldn’t outplay it.
As soon as Wen Shiyi left the podium, Qingran felt as though she’d broken free from some control, writing her answers smoothly and effortlessly.
Xie Ying’an always kept Qingran in his peripheral vision, fearing she would become anxious. He intentionally slowed down his problem-solving speed and waited until Qingran was nearly finished before writing down the answer he had figured out long ago.
Once both were seated, Professor Yan began to explain the problem Wen Shiyi had worked on.
Out of the three problems, only the middle one was difficult for the students of this class, but not to the point that they were unsolvable.
After explaining Wen Shiyi’s solution, a rare smile appeared on Professor Yan’s solemn face as he praised, "Student Wen Shiyi’s problem-solving approach is clear and straightforward. It seems that you have paid close attention to the last lesson I taught."
