Chapter 70 - 66: Holding the Chubby Doll
The day after the exam there was still a day off.
Qingran got up as usual, but Li Qingmo just couldn’t get up and slept till noon.
Luo Xi ran over early in the morning to make fun of Li Qingmo, and along with her came the little chubby Liu Xiaoxia.
Seeing Aunt Liu and Qingran, Luo Xi looked like she found her saviors, and stuffed the little chubby into Qingran’s arms: "Ranran, this fatty is almost killing me, help me take care of her."
The two-year-old chubby girl, who somehow developed a habit of eating her hand, didn’t respond when she was shifted to another embrace, continuing to chew her hand while lying on Qingran’s shoulder.
It wasn’t Qingran’s first time holding a child, but she still felt a little helpless holding such a chubby baby.
"Cousin," she carefully held the chubby girl and sat down on the sofa, "Why did you bring little chubby... Xiaoxia here?"
"Her!" Luo Xi pointed at the little girl with a displeased face, "She insisted on following me. If I walked away, she would start crying loudly, I had no choice. Hearing that I was coming here, my mom asked me to bring her along."
The little chubby girl knew her sister was talking about her, she turned her head towards her sister and smiled, saliva dripping down from her hand.
"Yuck!" Luo Xi grimaced in disgust, she pulled a piece of tissue from the table to wipe the little chubby’s drool, forcefully removed the chubby hand from her mouth, and even threatened, "If you keep sucking your hand, I’ll send you home."
Scared by her sister’s harsh tone, the little chubby pouted and lay clinging to Qingran, looking like she was about to cry but not crying.
