Chapter 43 Sorry, I let you down

Because of this trust, the tears she had held back for so long finally fell, and Gu Qili turned and threw herself into Teacher Shang’s arms, grabbing at her clothes and crying her heart out.
No need for any wordy explanations, those who understand her will eventually get her.
"Teacher, I’m sorry, I’ve let you down, sorry, I’m so sorry." Her voice was choked with recurring apologies.
Teacher Shang’s eyes also reddened, gently patting her slender back. This girl has taken on too much, has endured too long.
