Chapter 371: Wolf Couple
I felt like a hot tight knot had formed in my lower abdomen and I realized that his words may hold true. If we kept on mate, and if I kept on receiving his seed this way, I would probably get pregnant.
“I thought it was supposed to be difficult to conceive your child,” I said as my hand instinctively moved to touch my belly.
“I did say that for the normal case for pure blooded human women; however, as I’ve already shown you, you have some strong wolf genes and also a wolf spirit dwelling inside of you. Given that this is true, who knows? You might be very receptive to receiving my child,” the prince explained his theory to me.
“I see,” I murmured.
“If you want to change your mind, it might not be too late,” the prince said as he stared deeply into my eyes.
I could feel my core clenching as I felt myself being sucked into his beautiful gaze. His words warmed my heart and I appreciate the fact that he was giving me a choice; however, the idea of carrying his child and building a family together still felt very appealing to me even if things were moving at a very fast pace between us.
“I still want to have your child. I know that things are moving quite fast and also much faster than I expected, but I think that is also fine if this is how things are supposed to be,” I replied after a moment of thought.
“Let me know right away if there’s a change in your condition or if you experience symptoms of early pregnancy,” the prince said with a concerned look in his eyes.
I nodded my head obediently and then he drew me into his arms and held me tightly. I could sense his worry for me and I wondered what would happen to us if I were to get pregnant. More than worrying about myself, I worried about what would happen to the prince if his father and the council members found out that I am with child.
