Chapter 278: Taking Over
There was something that made her feel so ethereal and magical. Her smile was kind and her eyes twinkled like green jewels.
“It’s a pleasure to meet you,” I replied softly while stammering a little.
“Duchess...” Madame Sand said as she came to stand by my side.
I had no idea why Madame Sand seemed so flustered to see the duchess. Since she had said that I would be meeting my new instructor, I immediately thought that the duchess was supposed to be my instructor.
“I heard that Mila is about to start her dance lessons,” she said before smiling at both of us.
“Yes, you’re right. Her instructor should be here any moment now,” Madame Sand replied as her eyes darted nervously to the door.
“I think there’s some kind of misunderstanding on your part. You see, Mila’s dance instructor is standing right here,” Duchess Flavia said as she proudly placed her hand flat against her chest and smiled.
Her teeth were perfect along with everything about her. I couldn’t stop staring at her face and the way that her hand moved graciously. Not a single hair on her head seemed out of place and her smile felt unbelievably sweet.
“But...I had arranged...” Madame Sand began saying after blinking rapidly in confusion.
