Chapter 253: Irresistible Heat
“Why do you look so shocked? Is this the first time a man has secretly climbed into your bedroom through your balcony?” he asked teasingly.
Regina took a step back as Florian strode into her room. The hissing sound of the wind immediately subsided when Florian closed the sliding door behind him and locked it.
“Of course, it is!” she finally managed to reply without controlling her boiling temper.
“Well, don’t you have much to learn about the world...” Florian replied with a small, amused laugh.
“Why...are you here?” she asked while feeling very confused.
Florian eye’s stared directly into hers and Regina felt her chest become uncomfortably tight as her heartbeat quickened. The knot in her lower abdomen twisted and she winced before taking another step back. At that same moment, Florian reached out and captured her wrist in his. Regina gasped before she began struggling to pull her wrist away from his grasp reflexively.
“Someone told me that you could be feeling extra lonely tonight, so I came to check up on you...” Florian replied smoothly.
“Let go! What are you doing?” Regina cried out as she continued to struggle.
The more she struggled the more the prince’s grip on her wrist seemed to tighten until it began to hurt, and she wondered if her wrists would be bruised. Florian kept his eyes on her face as he observed her clearly troubled face.
