Chapter 191: Every Time I See His Face
The prince chuckled more cheerfully than I would have preferred in that situation, and I could tell that he was very amused at my reaction.
“Of course, that would be too rough on you if I don’t exercise some self-control,” Prince Leonard replied while still chuckling a little.
“Self-control?” I mumbled through the cracks between my fingers as I stole a peak at his entertained face.
His hands lowly reached towards me before I felt the heat of his touch around my wrists. Slowly, he pulled my hands away from my face and I ended up staring right into his captivating blue eyes. He smiled at me adoringly before he lowered my hands down to my side.
“Exactly. Self-control. Something that you clearly failed to exercise today and something that you need to get better at,” he lectured before he grinned at me.
“I’m very sorry...” I mumbled apologetically.
It seemed that there was more than history that the prince intended to teach me. He had mentioned something like that before when our class started but I never thought that he would have this kind of lesson in mind. Prince Leonard smiled at me before he sighed softly. I could tell from the look on his face that he must have pitied me and thought that I was truly helpless.
“If you end up desiring to mate with me every time that you see my face, it’s going to be a problem...” he stated as he cocked his head a little to the side and continued to watch my face.
“Every time that...” I mumbled as his words started to sink in.
