Chapter 161: Discovery
Her arms covered her chest protectively as she glared back at him with a mix of fear and relief.
“I wonder how much fun the two of them are having together right now...” Florian said casually as he sat down onto the side of her bed.
It was like what had happened between them never took place. Regina was shocked at this sudden change in pace, but she was relieved that Florian didn’t insist on playing around with her anymore. Her heart still raced in her chest, and she couldn’t hide the fact that she was so turned on from him.
“What? What do you mean?” she asked in a suspicious whisper.
“Apparently, Leo chose her as his honorable maiden and he also took her out into the city,” Florian replied casually.
“How did you find out about this? That is against the rules...” Regina asked as her eyes widened.
“Leo probably doesn’t care much about the rules. As for how I knew, well...let’s just say that there are some meddlesome people who want to make sure that I know that my big brother is doing his best to take care of me...” Florian replied before he laughed softly.
Florian thought of the head of the guards reporting to him and he wanted to roll his eyes at the ridiculousness of it all. His lips curved into a sardonic smirk when he thought of how much that man had been mistaken.
“Can you believe it? Leo accused me of something that I didn’t do and told the head of guards that he was doing me a favor to correct my mistake. All of that, just so that he could take the dear maid outside and that stupid man fell for it like a fool!” Florian said before he laughed even louder than before.
