Chapter 55: Lover for the Night
“Sit down. There’s no need for you to be so tense or so nervous. Just relax...” Darius instructed calmly.
The woman smiled politely before seating herself down on the sofa opposite to where Darius was casually seated. Although she was told about this meeting with the prince beforehand, she still felt extremely nervous now that she was alone in the room with him. Her eyes darted to the large bed located not too far from where she was seated before a slight blush rose to her cheeks as she thought about what was soon to come.
“What’s your name?” Darius asked casually.
“My name is Linda, Your Highness,” Linda replied politely.
“Call me, Darius. There’s no need to be so formal with me. Tonight, you’re my lover...” he instructed.
His words took her completely by surprise. She had heard that Prince Darius is a very straightforward person, but she never thought that he would be this straightforward. His honest words calmed her down and she had to admit to herself that she preferred him this way because she wasn’t a fan of pretenses. A genuine smile curved her lips as she thanked fate and the heavens for granting her the chance to serve Prince Darius instead of the other princes.
“Thank you...Darius...” Linda said a little hesitantly.
Darius’ grey eyes focused on Linda’s face while taking in her beautiful features. All women selected as honorable maidens looked pleasing to the eyes, so he wasn’t at all surprised that the same applied to Linda. She was beautiful in every sense of the word, and he couldn’t find any fault in her looks. The caretakers also did a fine job of selecting a dress that complimented her figure and her complexion. The midnight blue dress that she had on brought out the beauty of her eyes and the curves of her breasts.
“Is this your first time?” Darius asked straightforwardly.
