Because he had no idea how to face such an emotional Luan, he proposed that they should take some time to calm down first. He had even kindly offered his office for Luan. Who could have guessed that... Luan would twist the meaning of his words and assumed that he did not want to see him anymore?

They became a jumbled nervous mess as they tried to interpret every single word coming from their crush, dissecting it part by part to spot any hidden meaning – despite there being nothing at all.
And that was exactly what happened to Luan right now.

Dr. Feng pursed his lips, upset. He looked at Luan’s miserable state and could not help but heave a frustrated sigh. "I was giving you some time to cool your head, not that I don’t want to see you, okay?" he elaborated word by word, trying to emphasize that he really meant it in the literal sense. Then he grumbled under his breath, slightly annoyed. "Why the hell am I explaining this to you? How stupid..."
Luan’s gaze snapped to him in surprise. A brilliant gleam flickered from the depth of his pupils, making those fathomless eyes look startlingly bright. His entire person suddenly regained its vigor and became full of life. It was like seeing the first rise of the sun after a long period of darkness.
