Villain Saving System (BL)

Chapter 690: What Should He Do?!

Both of them tacitly agreed not to bring this matter up ever again. The stupid assassin was tactful for once. Except for that rage-inducing excuse he threw out earlier, he did not say anymore more and obediently cleaned the milk bowl for Zeke. Of course, that was after Zeke gave him three bloody scratches on the back of his hand.

As the water was running in the pantry, Zeke finally could not endure it anymore and bent down to lick his wet and sticky fur. Goodness, it was a miracle how he had not died of sheer rage and frustration. He, a dignified Crown Prince, was reduced into a little kitty who had to clean his own fur? He was more and more certain that this was his Imperial Father’s attempt to infuriate him to death.

Subsequently, a temporary truce was formed between the two of them.

With his belly warm and comfortable, Zeke was very satisfied and decided to spare the stupid assassin for now. To begin with, his body was still very weak and he would be no match if a fight broke out between them. It would only serve to humiliate him further.

The assassin did not look like a talkative person at all. After he finished washing the bowl, he acted as if Zeke did not exist and stood in front of the sole window in the wooden cabin, staring at the raging blizzard outside.

Now that Zeke’s mind was not muddled from hunger, he belatedly realized that this assassin’s house was very... barren. There was nothing inside except the most basic furniture such as the bed, table and chair, and a wardrobe. Zeke had not entered the bathroom, but he could guess that it was very minimalistic as well. It gave off a very... desolate impression. If not for the fact that the entire cabin smelled like him, Zeke would have thought that the man had robbed a random cabin for the night.

The stupid assassin did not rest, and thus Zeke did not dare to close his eyes either for fear that he would suddenly get attacked. He stretched out his front paws and leaned his head on it, staring thoughtfully at the man’s back.

Even now that he had settled in his own dwelling, he still gave off a very sharp and dangerous aura as if he was a sword who had lost its sheath, unable to bring himself to relax even for a moment.

Minutes and hours ticked by as Zeke tried to resist his boredom. He yawned for the nth time, yet the other person still had not moved a bit as if he had become a statue.
