Chapter 660: From Now On
One could not actually fault Dr. Feng for his ignorance. He would only be summoned every time the Technical or Maintenance Department found a bug in the main system. As for what was happening inside the simulation, he completely did not care. It was like how a game developer would only make sure that the program ran smoothly. As for the gaming experience itself, the beta team would be the one to test it out and report if there was any problem.
And Lu Yizhou’s rebellious daughter, Bianca, could not even be considered as a bug.
She was born naturally inside the simulator and later gained intelligence and consciousness as her own. Lu Yizhou could not actually classify what she was, he only knew that she had the capability to go in and out of the simulator undetected.
As such, it was no wonder that Dr. Feng knew nothing.
When he heard that there was such a wondrous existence who had been going round and round the system for months, Dr. Feng’s jaws dropped so wide that a goose egg could be shoved into it. He was totally taken aback and dumbfounded by this unbelievable news.
"She is my daughter. I watched her grow up with my own eyes," Lu Yizhou stressed heavily. "She is not a bug."
"Of course, I know she’s not a bug. Otherwise, could she have evaded my supervision all this while?!" Dr. Feng gritted out.
He could not believe this... oh God, there was actually a new independent artificial intelligence in the main system that slipped away unnoticed from right under his nose! How to describe it? It was just like keeping an intelligent robot for years only to realize that it had secretly given birth from God-knows-when, and the child had even grown into a mature robot! Let’s not mention how he was totally unaware of it, the fact that Bianca existed was already a miraculous feat! Worst of all, he even had to hear this earth-shattering news from another person!
Dr. Feng was not interested in Lu Yizhou any longer. He wished he could transport back into his office and had a long and serious talk with this legendary daughter. He tossed out a perfunctory sentence toward Lu Yizhou whilst striding out in haste, "Don’t worry. I won’t do anything to her."
Then, he suddenly heard Lu Yizhou pipe in behind him. "She is also Zeke’s daughter."
Dr. Feng tripped on his feet and almost slammed his face flat on the ground. Fortunately, he grabbed onto the door frame in time. He whipped his head around and wheezed out in a breathless voice, "What did you just say??!!"
