The prison was buried deep underground and whatever the corpses were doing upstairs, they had caused debris and thick dust to fall from the ceiling. The walls issued a loud crack and rumble as if it was going to shatter anytime soon.
If this went on, then the entire level would collapse and they would be buried inside! The realization dawned on the three people’s minds at the same time.
Lu Yizhou rushed inside the cage and tugged Pandora into his arms. "We have to go!"
"N–No!" Pandora’s pupils shrunk sharply as he struggled in Lu Yizhou’s hold. He could not take his attention off the bloody writing on the wall, his eyes bloodshot in morbid obsession. Something within him clamored that this was something ’he’ had left behind with much difficulty, so he definitely could not miss it! "Just a little bit more! I only need a little more time!!"
Unfortunately, time was what they lacked the most. Gritting his teeth, Lu Yizhou murmured an apology and forcefully pulled Pandora away. They could not stay here any longer. They had to leave as soon as possible before the level collapsed and buried them whole!
The elevator light flickered on and off like a scene straight out of horror movies. Adding on to the dark passage and his wild imagination of the rampaging corpses, Percy was frightened out of his wits. In a moment of desperation, he leapt forward like an agile cheetah and hit the button to close the elevator, again and again. "W–We have to leave! NOW!!"
