Percy’s heart skipped a beat. He had never expected that he would team up these two powerful men who had attracted everyone’s attention from the start! His green eyes flashed in a calculating glint. Christian did not look like he was easy to talk to, plus his attention had always been on Leonard, so he might not be interested in taking Percy in. But what about Leonard himself? He looked as if he wanted nothing to do with Christian...
Percy lowered his head and pondered deeply on his future course of action.
"Elsey," the newcomer introduced himself with a low voice.
Both Christian and Lu Yizhou acted as if they heard nothing, so that left Percy to answer. He forcibly mustered a smile on his face. "Hi, I’m Percy. We’re going to be a team for the next three days, right?"
Elsey shrunk his neck fearfully. "I–It seems so."
The atmosphere was so frigid that Percy was going to be turned into an ice block. Fortunately, the instructor addressed the crowd and started to hand over the assignment. They were to measure each other’s sizes and cut the fabric according to it. They also had to watch out for each other and make sure that they did not mess up or else if the instructor found out, then a normal warning would be given.
As soon as Lu Yizhou heard that the activity had something to do with touching each other’s body, the hair on his body stood on its end and loud alarms rang in his mind. Before anyone could react, he pointed at Elsey with a tone that brooked no argument. "You’re with me." He did not want to be with either of the protagonists! Anyway, he was already a wingman so he might as well do his job until the very end. Pushing the two of them together was also a good option.
Elsey lifted his head in shock. "A–Ah?!" Then his gaze collided with Christian’s sharp one and he shuddered violently. "T–This is—"
"I’m messy with my hands." Lu Yizhou casually gave a flimsy excuse. He raised a provoking brow toward Christian. "If you don’t mind, then I’d have to trouble you."
The corner of Christian’s lips twitched. He also planned to dump the workload to other people. Sighing, he could only turn to Percy and gestured with his chin. Either way, Lu Yizhou was already in the same group as him. He did not fear that the man would run away.
Then, the tense matter was settled just like that.
