The girl flinched as though the loud voices would transform into a huge monster to devour her into pieces.
Lu Yizhou observed her body language closely. She was sitting in the corner of the room, at a table filled with a family of six: a father and mother, two small children and two elderlies. In a glance, she could be considered as part of the family. It was a very strategic place. Clearly, she was not an inexperienced player. Lu Yizhou had no idea whether the nervousness she showed was real or it was only an act, but one thing for sure... she couldn’t be underestimated.
Logically, a seer would choose to join the guests camp. Who wanted to join a group of murderers after all? Even though werewolves’ offensive capability was higher, they were the minority. It would be much easier to join the guests’ camp and help them to drive the werewolves out. This way, they would not be burdened by guilt and conscience either.
Lu Yizhou could only think of two possibilities why a seer would join the werewolves camp. Either she was a fool or... she was confident that the werewolves would be the winner.
Or in other words, she was not alone in this quest.
