Ellen paused amidst the torrent of kitten punches he landed on Lu Yizhou’s broad back. "What...?"
Lu Yizhou sensed something was off with his reaction. Why did he sound so surprised? Pulling away slightly, he was surprised to see the genuine bewilderment on Ellen’s face. "...You don’t know?"
Lu Yizhou fell into thoughts. Previously, even though Ellen was chained, he claimed that he could see everything that had happened inside the Knox Residence. In a sense, if there was a hierarchy among the three personalities, then Ellen would be the highest because the power he held was greater than the other two. But now... it was different. Lu Yizhou studied his expression and said tentatively, "Last night, Ella woke up."
"Ella...?" Ellen blinked a few times, bamboozled. "Ella woke up? Why didn’t I notice...?"
Was it because they were finally in one body that their power would be divided equally? Or perhaps... was it this world’s influence? Before Lu Yizhou could say anything in response though, Ellen suddenly got angry again. "So, did you make her cry?!"
"I didn’t..." Lu Yizhou tried to defend his innocence, helpless. "Ella had a nightmare and woke up crying."
Ellen gave him a skeptical look, clearly doubting the truth in Lu Yizhou’s words. Lu Yizhou did not know whether to laugh or cry. Exactly what kind of person was he in Ellen’s eyes? Just as he opened his mouth to soothe the leopard’s bristling fur, the doorbell rang. Ellen obviously knew who was on the other side of the door because he chose to let Lu Yizhou go and turned to face the mirror again, cursing. "Oh damn, I am so dead..."

He took out a bottle of cream Lu Yizhou did not recognize and smeared it all over his face, glaring. "Why are you staring at me? Go and open the door. It should be my manager, Sister Chen."
