Three days passed by in an agonizing manner and Moshe hadn’t shown himself in front of Lu Yizhou. Let alone his shadow, Lu Yizhou couldn’t even find news about him anywhere! It would be disheartening if not for the feeling that someone’s gaze had always followed him whenever he went.
It took only one full day for Lu Yizhou to map the position of every hidden camera inside the mansion and another day for his instinct to kick in. When he sat down, he made sure to show the best angle of his face so that Moshe could see him better. When he ate, he made sure to chew slowly and display the empty plates so Moshe would know that he’s eating well. When he didn’t want Moshe to see something, he would strategically place himself so that his back was facing the camera.
There was just one thing that he was unsure whether he had to worry about or not.
It was the hidden cameras inside his room.
There was one placed on the chandelier so Moshe could see his sleeping face. Another on the wardrobe frame so Moshe could get the front view of him changing, one above the bookshelf that could give Moshe the bird view of his room, and there were two more... inside the bathroom.
One right on the corner of the ceiling overlooking the whole area whereas the other above the bathroom vanity so Moshe could... well, wasn’t it obvious already what was in his mind when he planted the cameras?
Lu Yizhou had no idea whether to laugh or cry. At this point, he suspected that Moshe didn’t even care anymore whether he found out or not. And Lu Yizhou was eighty percent certain that Moshe knew he knew about the cameras, judging from how the feeling of being closely watched would always start as soon as he closed the bathroom door and started to strip. If he didn’t know any better, he would think that Moshe had timed his routine down to the milliseconds.
Sometimes when he was feeling particularly mischievous, he would even sweep his gaze around the cameras. Not too overly conspicuous to show that he was aware of everything, but noticeable enough to show that he knew Moshe was up to no good.
The morning of the fourth day, Lu Yizhou woke up with a hollow ache in his chest.
He missed sleeping by his lover’s side. He had been here for three months and not even once had he shared Moshe’s bed. Either the man would tie him up all night long in the private room only to release him when dawn broke to let him rest, or he would lock himself in his study all night, working. For the latter, Moshe didn’t like to be disturbed hence Lu Yizhou could only sleep in the cold and massive bed alone, feeling awfully like an abandoned concubine.
Lu Yizhou’s cock had been half hard when he blinked his eyes open, straining against the soft cotton of his sweatpants. He had woken up earlier than usual. The sky outside was still dark with hues of blue and purple. He couldn’t feel Moshe’s eyes on him, meaning that the man was either still sleeping or working, no in between.
