Shudders erupted along Moshe’s spine, sending tingles to the tip of his toes up to his scalp, rendering it numb. His blood was roaring beside his ears. There was too much information in that one sentence that Moshe’s brain couldn’t catch up to it, especially in his current position.
He was certainly the one who held the gun, the one who had Aiden’s life firmly in his grasp, but why did he feel like he was the one whose life was hanging on a very thin thread?!

He was a ticking time bomb whose countdown time was unknown. Keeping such a person was practically attaching yourself to death. However, looking into those luminous silver eyes, Moshe got the impression that the beast was deliberately showing his soft belly for him to rub.
Yes, he was dangerous but in the end, he would only listen to nobody but one; his master.
Moshe tugged the gun out of Lu Yizhou’s hand and threw it somewhere behind him. There was nothing separating them anymore. Like two sides of magnets, they came together to become one whole piece. Moshe trailed his fingers along the line of Lu Yizhou’s jaws and Lu Yizhou leaned into the touch, almost affectionately. Moshe murmured, "You’re so fierce and beautiful. I have known since the first time I saw you in the arena... I absolutely have to own you."
A low rumble erupted deep within Lu Yizhou’s chest, almost like a purr. "Master."
That one word sounded more enthralling than any other word Moshe had heard. It struck him right on his core, leaving him breathless and shaken. How long had it been since he had felt this powerful rush of adrenaline? Moshe gritted his teeth to bite back the thrilled smirk. His hand moved from Lu Yizhou’s jaw to the back of his head, grasping onto his hair and forcing him to crane his neck up.
Moshe leaned forward to brush his nose along the column of Lu Yizhou’s jaws, inhaling as if he was a treasure collector who had just gained the world’s most intoxicating brew in his hands. How sweet... how addicting... Exactly how could this man intrigue him so much? His tongue darted out to wet his lips and without any precaution, Moshe opened his mouth and bit down on the side of Lu Yizhou’s neck.
