Villain Saving System (BL)

Chapter 320 - 7.10 I Will Remember You!

Damn it, damn it, damn it! Zion cursed vehemently as he shook off his pursuers’ trail all the while clutching his bleeding stomach. Fortunately, he dodged in the nick of time otherwise the bullet would have gone straight to his heart!

That fucker Moshe... he was seeking death! Wait until Zion got back to him. By that time, Zion would make sure to wipe that repulsive smile off his face!

Zion gritted his teeth as he merged with the crowd in the entertainment district. It was close to the suburban area, the hubbub of BBQ stalls, night market and cinemas welcomed him. The air was filled with the mouth-watering smell of roasted meat and people were too engrossed in their own business to care about him.

He slipped through the crowd agilely, eyes scanning around in alert. His people who came with him to this transaction had all perished under Moshe’s lackeys so he only had to hang on until reinforcements arrived.

Zion refused to die like this, especially not under that smiley fucker’s hands!

His eyes sought the surroundings, alert and sharp. He knew he was quickly losing too much blood. He had to hide somewhere — anywhere. The entertainment district was one open area but there were also a few places — dark, humid alleys — where he could hide; but only on short term. He had an injury to tend to and he doubted that anyone would want to shelter a man whose body was soaked in blood.

One thing for sure... he had to go away from here as far as he could!

Zion staggered on his feet and for some reason, his eyes were drawn to a man standing before a taxi. He was tall with messy dark hair, wearing a ridiculous shirt two sizes smaller than his body like an idiot. A cold glint flashed through Zion’s eyes as he stumbled toward the man. Maybe he could use this man as a human shield when the situation called for it.

Zion made sure to lower his head as he ambled his way through. When he bumped into people, he would slur out a vague apology, looking just like another drunk salaryman. Without any prompting, people started to avoid him, unwilling to get involved should anything untoward happen. Zion made sure that his pocket knife was hidden inside his jacket and when he was five steps away, he lurched forward as if tripped onto his own feet, conveniently draping himself over the man’s back whilst pressing the knife to his back.

Unfortunately, Zion was mindful only to use his upper body so as to not aggravate his wounds. Otherwise he would have noticed that this man, whom he had taken as a pushover idiot, had a gun in his back pocket.

"Don’t move." He hissed into the man’s ears. "Get into the taxi and don’t make any sound either."
