Cyrus glanced at Luan once again, hesitating. He only hardened his eyes when Luan gave him a quiet nod. Turning to Lu Yizhou, Cyrus took a deep breath and bowed, Luan following along by his side. "First thing first, I deeply apologize if my actions have given you some room for doubts. Please believe me when I say that Luan and I have no bad intentions toward all of you, especially him."
"I believe you," Lu Yizhou said quietly. If he didn’t, Cyrus and Luan wouldn’t be standing in front of him right now. Mythical beasts or not, Lu Yizhou had thousands of tricks up his sleeves on how to kill someone. It’s only a matter of how long it would take.

Cat got your tongue?" He asked when Cyrus stared at him wide-eyed, seemingly not expecting him to say something like that.
