Chapter 263 - 6.23 Grave Mistake
Lu Yizhou couldn’t help but chuckle. What was with this déjà vu? He trailed his fingers along Jillian’s sharp jaw until he could press his thumb on his kiss-swollen lips. "We’re finally alone, and this is the first thing you are asking me?"
They had been on the road for the last few days where no privacy was given; the soldiers were travelling together, eating together and even bathing was difficult because most of the water source was frozen due to the chilling temperature. It was winter anyway, so they strived to hurry to the destination and forwent bath altogether.
Every night, Jillian could only pepper kisses on Lu Yizhou’s doll face secretly under the cover of the blanket and bemoaned how he had missed kissing the real person. Alas, when Lu Yizhou offered to transform, Jillian was vehemently against the idea, unwilling to let Lu Yizhou be seen by everyone. "Do you not realize what kind of effect you have on humans?" He hissed in a hushed tone. "Haven’t you learned from that woman last time?!"
This perplexing man, Lu Yizhou thought fondly. So he still held a grudge after all this time simply because Lu Yizhou had given Maia his name.
It was after they had arrived at the border this morning that Jillian could finally have his own tent, bigger than the other and also separated quite a distance away.
As soon as Jillian concluded the meeting with the other Generals regarding their battle formation tomorrow and returned to his tent, Lu Yizhou instantly took on human form and crowded him against the low table. Jillian didn’t even have time to discard his dusty and sweaty clothes before Lu Yizhou kissed him within an inch of his life. Lu Yizhou had never thought himself to be an impatient man but... it had been too long. Each second passed without Jillian’s lips on him was seconds where Lu Yizhou felt himself getting colder and colder.
It was weird how he could still feel things like this even without a physical body.
Lu Yizhou kissed, licked and nipped Jillian’s slightly chapped lips, tracing the dry skin with the tip of his tongue and ignoring Jillian’s muffled protest of how dirty he was, greedily absorbing the man’s heat into his body. It was warm, so so warm. Lu Yizhou hadn’t realized how cold he had become until he had Jillian in his arms.
Jillian let out an annoyed huff but his hands were gripping tightly onto the hem of Lu Yizhou’s billowing sleeves. "Whose fault is it that I keep on thinking about this matter? You shouldn’t have shown yourself in front of that woman. Look at what kind of headache she has given us. Not only that, you have even told her your name!"
Ah, there it was. Jillian’s pettiness. Lu Yizhou leaned in and took Jillian’s bottom lip in between his teeth, nibbling until he could draw a lengthy moan from that sweet mouth and the flame of anger in those golden eyes ebbed away in lieu of pleasure. Jillian’s hands fumbled up to cradle Lu Yizhou’s jaws, fingers interlacing within the strands of Lu Yizhou’s hair.
Jillian was making soft involuntary noises into his mouth and... Lu Yizhou had no idea whether the man realized it or not but it was getting quite dangerous. Before, he was unsure whether he could still pop a boner in this kind of body and now, he had confirmed that he still retained that ability — should he be grateful even if there was no way he could reach completion when all he got was a few minutes a day?
