Like breaking open a new gate, from the day Lu Yizhou pointed the fact out, Oliver started to leak. There were more inconveniences than not, much to his dismay. Fortunately, Oliver had started to be reluctant to go out, otherwise he would randomly find dampness seeping through his clothes in the middle of the street. It would be so embarassing!
Random soreness spread through his chest and he often had to massage the area to make it better. As a result, he would squirt all over his body and had to take a bath afterward.
He leaked even as he was turning around in his sleep, when he bent over to pick something up, when he sneezed, or even when he was doing nothing at all! It was so frustrating! Not to mention that his feet began to swell, his hips grew wider and he looked more and more like an elephant! It wasn’t like Oliver chose to be a crybaby, but his mood swings were so severe that he couldn’t help it. Some things just irked him to no end and he couldn’t help but drop everything off and curl up in the comfort of his nest as he waited for his Alpha to come home.
Unfortunately, Lu Yizhou had been called away for a personal meeting with the Emperor and as much as he didn’t want to leave Oliver alone in the house, he had no choice because they would discuss Ryan’s punishment. Lu Yizhou had tried to wrap everything up as quickly as possible but when he flew home, two hours had gone by and the house was dark. He stepped soundlessly inside and shrugged off his coat. The low table in the living room was a mess with the children’s story books which Oliver was recently obsessed with, as well as jumbled balls of yarn that Oliver had tried to knit into small sweaters for the baby. From the tangled strands that were strewn across the sofa, Lu Yizhou had a faint idea as to what was going on. His doubt was further confirmed when he climbed up the stairs and picked up the faintest note of sour scent in the air.
A helpless yet fond sigh escaped his lips. Oliver was upset again, wasn’t he?
Lu Yizhou went to another room to wash the dust and grime of the day away before he quietly pushed the door to their bedroom open. The light wasn’t turned on and a lump could be seen on the bed. The sour scent of an upset omega intensified. Lu Yizhou let his pheromones loose to wrap it around Oliver as he sat on the bedside and wiped the trace of tears away from the corner of Oliver’s eyes.
