Chapter 100 - 3.40 Have You Been Waiting?
Oliver licked his gums and offered tentatively. "Do you want me to—"
"No."
The omega was half amused and half exasperated. "You haven’t even heard the question yet."
"The answer is still no." Lu Yizhou took over the washcloth and threw it somewhere in the room. Just like that, it became the least important thing in Oliver’s mind. Not when the Alpha was slowly stalking closer and closer and Oliver stepped back by reflex until the back of his knees bumped against the solid mattress and he fell to the soft bed that’s covered in fluffy pillows and blankets. O–Oh, he had forgotten to confess something. Lu Yizhou observed the bed which clearly looked like it had been slept on. "You slept here when I was away? Even made a nest on it?"
"Is there a problem with that?" Oliver grumbled and gathered the blanket around himself, hiding the most important asset of his nest from sight; the Alpha’s shirts which he secretly stole from the closet. He liked to hug and smell them before he slept every night. Like that, he could pretend that Lu Yizhou was there with him. "You left me alone in this big, empty house. I can’t even do this?"
Lu Yizhou observed him for a moment and then let out a huff. Oliver’s eyes snapped up. That... Was that a laugh? Altair was laughing?! He blinked dazedly at the mirth that glanced around the Alpha’s eyes. "You can do whatever you want." He said with that soft, indulgent tone that made Oliver feel like he was the most treasured omega in the whole world. "What’s mine is yours."
Ugh. Oliver buried his burning face into his palms. He was supposed to be the one that riled the Alpha up so how could he let a mere few words defeat him like this? Unfair. It was so unfair!
Lu Yizhou gently pried Oliver’s hands open. "Let me see your bruise." As if handling a frightened animal, his movement was soft and careful as he slid the blanket off Oliver’s shoulders and once again, Oliver got the urge to cry from how sweet he was. The Alpha’s brows furrowed when the bruise came to sight. Anger flashed in his silver eyes before it swiftly faded when Oliver soothed on the lines between his brows. "Does it hurt?" He asked and started to massage Oliver’s arm.
Oliver had to bite back a moan. The Alpha didn’t put in any strength at all. Instead of massaging, it looked more like he was kneading and teasing. Goosebumps flared along Oliver’s arm and if Lu Yizhou noticed that, he didn’t say anything about it. It took a few seconds for Oliver to actually comprehend that Lu Yizhou was waiting for an answer. "It doesn’t hurt." After seeing Lu Yizhou’s dark look, he corrected. "Well, a bit... I think? I was desperate to get to you so..."
"Don’t do it again." He sounded genuinely upset and Oliver thought he was fucking hot. Well, he was already sexy to begin with but there’s just another level to this kind of sweet and tranquil domesticity, you know? Ah, he really wanted to birth this Alpha a child, the thought came to him out of nowhere. They would look so beautiful and adorable with little horns or wings, chubby cheeks and sweet laughter that sounded like wind chimes. Oliver was so lost in his own fantasy that he didn’t notice when Lu Yizhou was leaning closer until the Alpha’s hot breaths landed on his shoulder followed by another hot, wet and silky sensation.
Oliver’s body gave a surprised jerk and his eyes widened at the sight of Lu Yizhou licking his bruises with one-minded devotion. "A—Altair..." His body trembled and every lick seemed to send shudders straight down his spine and settled in his lower abdomen. His erection that barely softened had woken up once again and he could feel dampness inside his underwear. "Altair, what are you—"
"Treatment." The Alpha simply said then returned to licking Oliver all over.
