There was silence and Oliver felt like he was going to get a heart attack if this went on any longer. Even his tail curled up in anxiety. As he had thought, there was no way Altair would agree. Oliver was only an Omega stranger he happened to chance upon and most importantly, an Alpha with his caliber would have chosen a more suitable partner who possessed more beautiful and vivid beast signs. Unlike him... who would like this black tail anyway? It’s so ugly!
In the end, instead of answering, what Oliver got was another question. "Do you know someone named Lu Yizhou?"
Oliver showed a blank expression.
"How about Ren Zexi?
"Theodore?"
"Raphael?"
Lu Yizhou looked at the confused omega in front of him and shook his head. What did he expect exactly? "Forget it." He just couldn’t describe it. Three different people, three different personalities and appearances yet every single time Lu Yizhou had the gut feeling that they were very similar to each other. Very, very similar to the point where he got the ridiculous idea that they had always been one person since the beginning. He shouldn’t nurture this kind of empty hope, he was aware of it but he couldn’t shake the thought no matter what.
"Who—Who are they?" Oliver pressed his lips together. A surge of envy and jealousy filled his chest and his tone came out sourer than he expected. "Your Omegas...?"
"No." Lu Yizhou chuckled. "I don’t have any Omega."
