Villain Saving System (BL)

Chapter 50 - 2.20 No Longer Needs Me

"Oh?" Jeffrey blinked, his lips curled up even more yet Theodore couldn’t help but think there was something more to it in his smile. Somehow, it provoked him. "I have heard a lot about the Valmors. Callen Valmor is your father, I assume? He’s a well-known merchant around here." Without waiting for Theodore to reply, Jeffrey once again turned to Lu Yizhou. "How about you, Sir? May I ask for your esteemed name?"

Why was he more polite and courteous toward Raphael rather than himself?! Anger coursed through Theodore like never before. He didn’t understand what he was feeling yet the only thing in his mind was how to hide Raphael away from sight so that this promiscuous man wouldn’t lay his sight on him. How dare he?! Only Theodore was allowed to look at Raphael like that!

"He’s my servant! There’s no need for you to know his name!" Theodore growled angrily, his fur all puffed up as if he had just met his mortal enemy. Disregarding Jeffrey’s stunned expression at his sudden outburst, Theodore reached for Lu Yizhou’s hand and pulled him away. He beckoned to the guards. "You! Go and see what they need. If it’s beneficial, we will sell. If not, ignore them and go!"

Lu Yizhou stared helplessly at the back of Theodore’s head. Even until they got into the carriage, Theodore was still fuming. "What the heck is up with that man? He looks very suspicious. You’re not allowed to get close to him, got it?!" He directed his glare at Lu Yizhou and only withdrew his gaze when he received the vampire’s nod.

What’s with him? Lu Yizhou blinked. Somehow, this reaction of his was very similar to...Ren Zexi. It gave Lu Yizhou an uncanny sense of dejavu. The corner of Lu Yizhou’s mouth curled as he patted the teenager’s head. "Don’t be angry, Young Master. I won’t get close to him."

The short transaction with Gilith was done and they continued on their way. However, it seemed like their destination was on the same path and furthermore, the mountain road didn’t give much of a space for many carriages to pass along, the two groups ended up travelling together; Theodore in front while Gilith tugging behind. The knowledge just made Theodore grow angrier.

As soon as break time was coming and everyone got off the carriage to relieve themselves, Theodore would stick to Lu Yizhou 24/7. Even when he had to go, he still had to bring Lu Yizhou with him. He eyed Gilith—especially Jeffrey—like one would eye another predator who coveted his prey. Lu Yizhou had a lot of fun seeing him get so worked up.

"Aren’t you sick of it?" Jeffrey brushed the bushes away with sword and approached Lu Yizhou, his hair still wet with water from the bath, droplets of it cascading down his body. His blue eyes gazed intently at Lu Yizhou’s side profile that was illuminated by the moonlight, taking in his every blink and inhale. He couldn’t believe that such a gorgeous man could exist. He almost looked inhuman...

Unfortunately, Theodore had to deal with his hygiene and only at these moments he wouldn’t let Lu Yizhou get close to him. Knowing that, Jeffrey chose that exact moment to seek him out.
