Chapter 60- Wheelhouse

The faint sound of metal clanking, the mumbled sounds of people talking, the cold iron of the chains that were wrapped around me, my vision was slowly clearing as I looked around the environment I was currently in, large cargo containers filled the room, stacked on top each other and spread through the space, it looked like a wheelhouse, with people sitting and standing on the metal railings that held up the roof of the building, their eyes fixed on me who was chained to a chair in the center of the wheelhouse.
"Carlos," I called out weakly, he was chained too, his back against mine but his head was still slumped forward, he hadn’t woken up.
"Wow, you’re already awake." The man who shot me said, I looked in the direction of the voice and saw him sitting on top of a red container a few meters away from me, with brown scattered dreaded hair, dark chocolate skin, faded brown eyes, and a faint mustache that still somehow manage to cover his pink lips.
"Where am I?" I asked, my words still sluggish but no one replied instead the man jumped off the container and walked towards me, he leaned down to my level.
"How the fuck are you awake?" He asked, amusement filling his words as he spoke.
"Urghhhhh—" I groaned weakly, the effect of whatever they did to me still present, I could feel it wearing off but the progress was slow.
"One of those darts knocks down a wolf for half a day and two barely kept you down for an hour, So I’m guessing you’re a very high-rank wolf." The man said, I tugged at the chains that held me down and he took a cautious step back.
"So that would mean that your wolf would be monstrous, so why were you using your bare hands to fight huh?" The man said, he looked at me "Wait, is there something wrong with you wolf?" He continued, his amusement growing with every word that left his mouth.
