Chapter 54:Ten Shining Stars [3]
In the small Imperial class of around twenty enlightened students, I’d be able to receive private attention from my professors and teachers, allowing me to progress faster, instead of struggling on my own.
I was starting from complete scratch with zero experience, so my first step would be learning and using the basic pillars of swinging a sword.
The foundations of your swordsmanship are the most vital factor in your combat skill and style.
The way you swing your sword, the angle at which you jab, your grip on your sword...all these foundational things construct your sword art.
With the help of the advanced professors and teachers in the Imperial class, I could master these foundations, creating a strong base for my future combat art.
Whereas, in the Worldly class, I’d be training myself and probably make mistakes, just like my makeshift horizontal slash drill after the fireworks show.
However, this would come with the cons of being surrounded by talented individuals, and as I had mentioned earlier, I would be missing out on the competitive environment of the Worldly class.
She probably loathed me, anyway.
I would also become somewhat reliant on my teachers instead of myself, leading to progression problems in the future.
Sighing, I dejectedly shook my head and looked up at Daisy’s grim expression.
"I think I’ll stay in my imaginary world, for now."
