Chapter 51:Orientation [5]
He had been sitting there, staring at me for thirty minutes, yet the thought of telling me had simply never passed his mind!?
Hearing my words, the student’s onyx-black pupils immediately widened, and he tilted his head as if saying, "Are you talking to me?"
He had seemed like the quiet type since the first time I saw him.
He had skipped the back sections of the chairs and come up near the stage to avoid sitting in a crowded area.
Then, upon accidentally stepping into my row, he had simply found a seat instead of making a scene by awkwardly walking out and choosing another row.
Thus, when his mouth opened, I did not expect anything too crazy...However, I was surprised.
"Are you kidding me? Did you not even look in a mirror before arriving here!? This is an orientation; I thought you knew."
At a loss for words, I pointed to my bandaged right eye and said.
"Are you stupid? Of course, I didn’t know. Did you think I was making a fashion statement by coloring my eye black and red!?"
Raising his hands and forming an "X" in front of his chest, the student responded in an equally loud and aggressive tone to mine.
"Hey, hey, hey, don’t try to shift the blame to me. This is your damn fault for coming to the ceremony like this. I thought you were some psycho who snuck in here with that demonic-looking eye."
