Chapter 22:Temptation [3]
Looking down, I spotted the berserker's massive figure standing in the middle of the crater with his battle axe slung over his shoulder.
However...he looked different once again.
His light-blue veins were visible and bulging, and he had somehow grown over three feet since the last time I had seen him.
The massive battleaxe that was nearly my height seemed like a toy in his hands.
Then, leaping into the air, Kratos jumped nearly seven feet as he landed on the outside of the massive crater he had created and a couple feet away from me.
When he landed, the ground even rumbled for a moment, almost knocking my battered body off balance.
His leap was elegant like a ballerina's as he soared through the air in a perfect arc. His newfound strength didn't seem to have any inverse effects on his speed or agility stats.
There was only one way to beat people like this.
Use their strength against them.
A second later, the five of my clones that had survived the magical axe slash silently landed on the ground, making no noise as they touched the forest floor.
Lined up in a perfect row with my clones, I made the first move, sprinting forward with the tip of my blood-red blade facing the ground.
