A thick, black aura still cloaked the decaying building, repelling daylight and casting a shadow as if from another world.
Upstairs, in the room where the evolution took place, silence reigned—dense and heavy. Residual death energy lingered in the air, swirling like thick fog. The once-radiant magic vortex around Sylvia’s body had faded entirely.
