Prologue
That day felt like any other. I was at work, buried under a mountain of documents and never-ending deadlines. But suddenly... the world went dark.
"Eh?"
Everything vanished in an instant. No pain, no sound—only pitch-black darkness. When I opened my eyes again, I was standing... in a mall.
"Where... am I?"
Flickering neon lights, shattered storefronts, and an eerie atmosphere sent chills down my spine. Not a single soul in sight, just a suffocating silence.
I had just taken a step when suddenly—GRAAUGH!!Something bit into my right shoulder. Instinctively, I turned my head and saw it—a creature with empty eyes, rotting skin, and the stench of death.
"A Z-Zombie?! Seriously?! I just reincarnated into another world... and immediately got bitten by a zombie?!"
Without thinking, I struck the zombie with all my strength. Whether from panic or adrenaline, my blows managed to knock it down. But the pain in my shoulder worsened. I collapsed onto the dusty, cold floor, leaning against the wall. My body grew heavier, and my vision began to blur. Consciousness slipped away bit by bit.
'Is this... the end?'
But—I didn't die.I... woke up again. I don't know how much time had passed, but my consciousness returned.Yet something felt wrong.
I couldn't speak. My body was stiff, like wood. It felt like... I was still alive, but this body wasn't mine.
