Chapter 1034 - 1029: Adjustment
In the blink of an eye, two days had passed.
It was noon on this particular day.
After Seimei recalled all his shadow clones and absorbed their training experiences and memories from the past hour, a sudden spark of realization hit him.
In that moment, Seimei knew—his Three Elements Sealing Technique had leveled up.
He carefully processed this newfound understanding, letting it sink in fully before opening his status panel.
As expected, his Three Elements Sealing Technique had indeed jumped from Level 6 to Level 7—specifically, Level 7 (0/0).
In other words, he'd maxed out this technique for its current stage. If he wanted to push it further, he'd need to put in some serious effort to break through its limits.
But, as always, it came down to one thing: if the upgraded technique was good enough for now, there was no need to waste time and energy chasing the next level.
So, how was its performance?
Closing his eyes, Seimei sensed the Level 6 Three Elements Sealing Technique at his abdomen. He could feel the over 300,000 points of natural energy that had returned with his shadow clones. With a single thought, he drew that energy out of the sealing space.
Thanks to his Level 7 Natural Energy Control, Seimei split off a portion of his focus to keep the natural energy from running wild in his body.
Then, he erased the Three Elements Sealing Technique at his abdomen.
Immediately, another 30,000 points of natural energy were freed up.
Luckily, Seimei's current limit for controlling natural energy was a whopping 500,000 points. Even with the additional 30,000 points needed to maintain the seal, it was still well within his capacity.
Once he had all the natural energy under control, Seimei quickly formed hand signs, guided by the insights in his mind, and cast the upgraded Three Elements Sealing Technique.
In an instant, intricate sealing patterns spread across his body before rapidly shrinking, forming a slightly curved triangular mark.
Three sealing chains shot out from the three corners of the triangle. One anchored itself to his physical body, connecting to his physical energy. Another reached into his mental world, linking with his mental energy. The final chain rooted itself in the natural energy he was controlling.
Like a pipeline, the seal began absorbing the natural energy into the sealing space, working to establish a new cycle.
Seeing this, Seimei relaxed his grip, allowing the natural energy to flow into the sealing space.
When only about 30,000 points of natural energy remained in his body, a new balance was struck.
Based on the proportion of the 300,000-plus points of natural energy in the sealing space, Seimei calculated the new storage capacity of the Level 7 Three Elements Sealing Technique.
The result didn't disappoint.
This upgrade had boosted the technique's natural energy storage limit by five times compared to Level 6, reaching an astonishing 5,000,000 points.
That was far beyond his current chakra limit—more than double, in fact.
Raising his chakra limit to 5,000,000 points would take at least a year of dedicated effort.
In other words, for at least the next year, he wouldn't need to worry about breaking the Three Elements Sealing Technique's limits to level it up further.
And if he could master Sage Mode within that year, he wouldn't even need the Three Elements Sealing Technique anymore—his body would be able to handle that much natural energy on its own.
But that was a matter for the future.
For now, he could reassign the shadow clones training the Three Elements Sealing Technique back to developing Dust Release. Plus, the chakra he'd previously allocated could also be returned.
This meant his daily chakra investment in developing Dust Release would go back to 4,000,000 points, and the number of shadow clones per training session would increase from 300 to 400.
With that, his progress on Dust Release was bound to speed up significantly.
And it wasn't just Dust Release. As of yesterday evening, his Wood Clone Technique had already leveled up. The time freed up from that had been redirected to training the Heart Reflection Technique, which was boosting the evolution speed of his Sharingan.
As for the changes in the Wood Clone Technique at Level 9 (0/0), it had undergone a qualitative leap, just like his other skills. The wood clones were now more stable, able to withstand greater damage, and could store even more chakra.
At Level 8, with the All-Encompassing Seal applied, they could hold over 30,000,000 points of chakra. Now, that number had jumped to 50,000,000.
The downside? He didn't have that much chakra to store anymore.
Sure, perfecting the Wood Clone Technique had saved him 300,000 points of chakra. But doubling the training time for the Heart Reflection Technique had doubled its chakra consumption.
Before, he'd only train the Heart Reflection Technique for two hours a day, using about 1,000,000 points of chakra. Now, he was training for six hours, from afternoon to evening, burning through 3,000,000 points—a staggering 2,000,000-point increase.
The 300,000 points saved from the Wood Clone Technique weren't nearly enough to cover that.
On top of that, he had to pull 1,700,000 points from his daily chakra reserve of 2,420,000 to make up the difference.
As a result, his daily chakra savings dropped from 2,420,000 to just 720,000 points.
With that amount, who knew how long it'd take to fill up a single wood clone?
All Seimei could say was, plans never quite keep up with changes.
Still, having maxed out the Wood Clone Technique would make things easier going forward.
As for the fact that his chakra investment in the Sharingan had exceeded the 2,500,000-point limit? Well, that limit was based on his Constitution stat at 26.
After two physical transformations, his Constitution had risen to 28, pushing his chakra limit well beyond 2,500,000 points.
He hadn't tested it thoroughly, but handling 3,000,000 points of chakra was no problem. Even 4,000,000 or 5,000,000 points might be manageable, as long as he trained the Heart Reflection Technique long enough.
When his Constitution went from 25 to 26, his chakra limit had jumped from 1,500,000 to 2,500,000—a 1,000,000-point increase. The subsequent boosts, though harder to achieve, should have even greater effects.
So, 4,000,000 or 5,000,000 points definitely wasn't his limit.
Unfortunately, he didn't have the time to train the Heart Reflection Technique that much.
On the flip side, this wasn't entirely a bad thing. His current mental and physical state couldn't support an overly rapid evolution of his Sharingan.
Doubling the training time was just right.
At his current tripled evolution rate, he was gaining about 150 evolution points per day. To reach the (30,000/100,000) milestone for his Sharingan, it'd take a little over two months.
That lined up perfectly with his estimated timeline for his next physical transformation.
By then, his Constitution stat would increase, and he wouldn't need to worry about his Mental stat spiking due to the Sharingan's evolution breaking the (30,000/100,000) threshold.
As for the Byakugan, which could also boost his Mental stat? Well, he'd just have to take it one step at a time.
With all these thoughts swirling in his mind, Seimei pushed them aside. He quickly swallowed a few enhanced soldier pills to replenish his energy and dove right back into his next round of training.
