After arriving home, An Ran changed her shoes and first went to the fridge to get a plate of fruit she had frozen in the morning, and then grabbed two ice creams.
"Liu Hu, you watch some TV first. I’ll make dinner. Is there anything you’d like to eat? Look, we have the ingredients we bought yesterday, you can choose."
Liu Hu sat on the sofa. When An Ran came over with the fruit, he couldn’t help but sit up straight. Seeing An Ran hand him the ice cream, he quickly took it.

"Mom, what are you looking at over there?" Li Lele came out of the bedroom and saw his mother, Sun Lufang, standing on the balcony peeping from behind a piece of clothing. He was too short to see what his mother was looking at.
Sun Lufang looked down at her son, who was craning his neck to look. She laughed and tapped his forehead, "Go, go, play somewhere else."
"Mom, you still haven’t told me what’s so interesting to watch?" Li Lele persisted. Since his mom was watching so intently just now, there had to be something.
"Hey, you little rascal, I’m just hanging clothes. What do you think I’m looking at? Have you finished your homework? When your dad comes back from the exercise and finds out you haven’t done it, you’ll get your butt kicked."
Hearing his mother’s threat, Li Lele sheepishly went back to his room, occasionally glancing back towards the balcony, but he didn’t see anything.
Once her son closed the door again, Sun Lufang continued to look towards the opposite building.
