Chapter 179: Has He Been Watching Me?

My heart pounded and a splitting headache thrummed my head. With that incessant ringing of the phone, I couldn’t focus.
Finally, I grabbed it.
<An unknown caller>
I knew who this was going to be. The terror locked my limbs, the dread making my hands shake as I picked up the call and placed the phone on my ear.
The gruff voice, which made my knees tremble as fear seeped into my marrow, reached my ears.
"Did you like my little surprise? It’s so fun to play with you, Arata."
My hand tightened around the phone; whoever this bastard was, he was the one who was responsible for everything that had happened with Andy.
"What the hell do you want? You bastard," I yelled out in frustration. The man had ruined my life. Destroyed my relationship with Andy, if I was to believe his side of the story, I couldn’t even trust Karsten.
"You are so naïve, Arata. I just want to destroy you while keeping you close. Remember, I am always watching you. Leaving you with another small surprise for the night, I hope you don’t sleep a wink." He hollowly laughed as the call disconnected.
Fear and anxiety mingled to create a shitstorm inside me as my cell phone pinged several times and video after video dropped.
