Chapter 169: They Are Here

My thought process was interrupted by the ringing of my doorbell. Zaylen and Stella must be here. Quickly I closed my phone and put a forced smile on my face before rushing to the door and opening it.
Zaylen and Stella burst inside with their ever-green smiles.
"Arataaa." Stella enthusiastically hugged me, holding onto a box of chocolates.
I tightly hugged my best friend back, it felt good, like a relief.
Zaylen was next, holding take-out boxes.
"How are you sis?" He asked, his bright eyes shone with love for me.
"Good and happy, now that both of you are here." It was the truth, I had missed them and with that stalker just sending me that ominous text, I was actually thrilled they had arrived.
"You sent Alpha Blue to pick us up." Zaylen’s eyes were about to bulge out of his sockets in excitement and I knew he was barely holding on.
I had to stifle a giggle. "Yes, Mr Karsten lent it to me for your trip. I told him it’s your dream car."
"Dope, we are having a full discussion later and I will personally thank him tomorrow." Zaylen eagerly squeezed my shoulders before moving further inside.
