Chapter 212: The Upcoming Enchanted Garden Event
Stirring the slightly melted shaved ice, Lariette took another bite. She almost made a little, quick dance while still sitting on the chair.
Her mood was good today, but this sweet and cold dessert made her happier.
"Oh," Lariette blinked, suddenly realizing something. She stared at Ruediger across the table, "Eddy, did Maddie text you? About her cafe’s new event?"
Ruediger paused from eating, still chewing the bite. His eyes gleamed with mirth as he was reminded of the particular event.
"Do you mean the ’Enchanted Garden’ event? I’ve seen the new posts on the cafe’s account," answered Ruediger after swallowing the sweet red beans, "It’ll be held next Saturday, right?"
Lariette quickly nodded, "Yup! Maddie wants us to join. She said it’s better if we go there at night. The main highlight is at nine, but she keeps it secret."
Madeline had been busy recently with a new event for Suit & Tie[01]. The butler cafe often held events as an attempt to attract more customers, including showing their appreciation to the regular ones.
The cafe usually organized themed events, some of them were seasonal and holiday celebrations, while the others could have unique and fantasy themes.
On the previous Valentine’s Day, the female customers received personalized notes from the butlers. And, even though Velondia didn’t celebrate White Day like in Japan, the cafe held a knight-themed event where the butlers dressed as noble knights pledging their service to the ladies.
Everything was beyond fantastic!
A whimsical tea party, vampire masquerade ball and haunted manors were among the previous events. Not to forget, the royal banquet night, steampunk soiree, celestial ball and magical academy day.
