Chapter 23
Karl's face was totally flushing when he felt Mrs. Thompson's breath near his ear. The intensity between the three ladies had his brain like, shutting down, man. He didn't know whether to be scared or flattered – maybe a bit of both.
"Uh, thanks, Mrs. Thompson. It, uh, feels nice to be appreciated," he stammered, trying to step back, only to realize that Julia and Sofia were still hovering super close, like closing in on him.
Mrs. Thompson chuckled softly. "Come on, Karl. No need to be shy. We're just messing around a bit."
Karl's mind raced to find a way out of this situation without seeming rude. "I, uh, just remembered I have to feed my cat!" he blurted out suddenly, backing away from the three women.
Julia raised an eyebrow. "You have a cat? I didn't know you liked pets."
"Y-yeah, the cat is very... demanding of attention," Karl said quickly, taking advantage of their confusion to escape the circle of women.
As he hurried down the hallway, he couldn't help but feel relieved and still bewildered. "That was almost too close," he murmured to himself. "I don't think I'm ready to face three Milfs at once."
Karl finally reached his apartment door, slightly out of breath. He quickly opened and closed it, as if trying to distance himself from the chaos that had just unfolded.
After a moment, he leaned his back against the door and let out a long breath.
"What was that all about? Like some weird scene from a japanese porn movie!" Karl muttered to himself, still unable to believe what had just happened. He walked to the kitchen and grabbed a glass of water, trying to calm his racing mind.
