Chapter 14: Max Valkyrie
The guards stared in vigilance as Lioro and Hamsuke approached the gate of E-rantel.
If not for Lioro, a human who was sitting on top of Hamsuke, the guards would have already launched an attack.
*Nieghh*
Horses belonging to merchants shouted in fear as Hamsuke stood behind them. Everyone in front of the line stared back at Lioro and Hamsuke with curiosity and a little fear in their eyes.
As Lioro was waiting for his turn, a soldier came running from the city gate, stopping some distance away from Hamsuke and asking Lioro in a hesitant voice while pointing at Hamsuke.
"Excuse me sir....is this your magic beast?"
"Yes it is, is there a problem?", Lioro replied.
The soldier gulped loudly before pointing towards the city gate.
"Please go ahead and register your magic beast."
The line suddenly separated a passage opened up for him.
Riding on Hamsuke, Lioro nodded at the guard before making their way towards the city gate.
