The moment Creed laid eyes on the glorious sight before him, he felt a wave of emotions so strong that for the first time since entering this death trap of a rift, he almost wanted to cry.
But this time, it was not out of frustration, but out of pure relief and joy.
’Oh my god,’he thought, staring ahead in disbelief. ’Finally! Finally! Something in this damn rift that isn’t trying to kill me! Something actually worth all this suffering! I swear, if this is a hallucination, I will personally fight whatever god oversees this dimension.’
And he wasn’t the only one losing his mind.
Every single member of the group, from the lowest Stage 1 to the strongest Stage 5, was completely still, their eyes wide with unfiltered greed and desire.
Some of them were even holding their breath, as if afraid that making a sound would cause this miracle to disappear.
Because the entire cavern, from top to bottom was covered in something truly amazing.
Yellow Snake Vines.
These strange, yellowish vines weren’t just ordinary plants. No, they were something much, much more special.
They wrapped around the walls like slithering snakes, coiling around the stone surfaces as if they were alive.
Their smooth, scaled texture glistened in the dim cavern light, and every now and then, they would pulse faintly, as though breathing.
