The training room inside Creed’s apartment was utterly silent.
It wasn’t the comfortable silence of a peaceful morning or the stillness of an empty room; it was the sharp, heavy silence that came before something explosive.
The air was thick with tension, like a drawn bowstring, ready to snap at any moment.
The sleek blue walls of the training room absorbed all sound, making even the faintest breath seem magnified. The soft, cool lighting cast a steady glow, revealing the three figures standing within.
Creed stood alone on one side of the room, his posture relaxed, his spear at his side, but his blue eyes burned with sharp focus as he stared at the two figures standing opposite him.
Lilith and Tierra were already fully geared, their sleek, high quality armor hugging their voluptuous bodies, their weapons gleaming in the artificial light.
Lilith’s black and purple battle armor looked as menacing as ever, covering her from neck to toe with jagged edges that hinted at its strong defensive capabilities.
In her hands, she held a massive, curved and definitely heavy sickle that pulsed faintly with purple energy, the very same weapon she had chosen weeks ago.
Tierra, on the other hand, was clad in a form-fitting dark-blue bodysuit that gave her maximum mobility, and strapped to her thighs were her deadly sets of daggers.
Their eyes locked onto Creed, not with hostility, but with something even more dangerous; amusement.
