The lobby of the Memis Training Hall was as neat and organized as ever, yet it still buzzed with the lively energy of warriors looking for a fight.
The vast hall was illuminated by bright overhead lights, making the polished marble floors gleam.
Rows of leather couches lined the waiting area, occupied by dozens of Awakened fighters who lounged around, engaged in idle chatter.
Some were drinking energy potions straight from the bottle like they were common beverages, others were sharpening weapons, checking their gear, or boasting about their latest victories.
No matter where one looked, there was an undeniable presence of battle spirit in the air.
Nearly every person here carried themselves with an aura of power, their muscular physiques and sharp eyes making it clear that they were warriors who lived and breathed combat.
At one of the corner couches, a pair of Awakened with ironically opposite physiques sat together, looking bored out of their minds.
One of them was a giant of a man, standing at least two meters tall, with arms thicker than most people’s thighs and a jawline that could cut through metal.
His entire body bulged with muscle, as if the very concept of body fat had been erased from his existence.
The other man sitting next to him was half his size, a thin, lean fellow with messy brown hair, long fingers, and an exaggeratedly lazy posture that made him look like he had absolutely no interest in existing.
