"I...don’t want to." The windrend responded fearfully, she believed that this human would really attack it if it changed back to its bird form.
She would definitely die if she got hit by any more lightning.
And wasn’t this person using the space element earlier? How could it have the lightning element as well?
Anyways, that wasn’t its main concern; it had to think of how to survive first.
Alex frowned slightly when he saw that the windrend didn’t want to return to its bird form, this was putting him in a difficult position.
"If you die like this, will you return to your true form or stay like this?" He asked after some thought.
The windrend stared at him with a suspicious expression after hearing the question, she felt that the other party’s question was a trap.
So instead of replying, she asked why the other party wanted to know about such a thing.
"Do I need to explain myself to you?" Alex hissed in an icy tone, startling the windrend to near tears.
"I-i don’t know if I’ll return to my original form or not, I probably won’t since I need to do the transformation willingly!" The windrend screamed in response, terrified of this masked human.
’Hmm, then it’s probably best not to kill her else I’ll lose all my money. How should I persuade her now?’ Alex thought to himself while continuing to stare at the windrend.
Because of his mask, the windrend was able to see his expression and thought that Alex was just staring at her in silence; this made her very uncomfortable, didn’t he like her answer?
