Being Op With My Broken System: All Limits Have Errors

Chapter 143: Sniping out each other’s team

Glen, Ryan, Amelia, and Jason stood side by side as they stared at the four boys from Windmere Magic Academy. Every second felt like an hour as they waited for the match to begin.

Not long after, the referee signalled the start of the match and everyone in both teams instantly moved into place. Both sides had watched each other’s fight before and were aware of each other’s element and strength.

On the side of the Windmere Magic Academy, one of them had the lightning element and was at the Core mage rank just like Glen, another was an Ice mage, a fire mage, and the last student was a wind mage.

Immediately after the match started, Amelia summoned her vines and sent them forward. In retaliation, the ice mage on the side of the Windmere Magic Academy cast "freezing wave" and quickly turned the space in between the two teams into a frozen domain. When the two vines entered the area of the frozen space, their movements immediately slowed down considerably, and they began to change colour, slowly turning from green to blue, because of the extreme cold and visible frost began to form around them.

Shortly after, a portion of the vines were covered in thick layers of ice and could barely move any further.

Amelia’s eyebrows curved slightly as she felt her control over her vines becoming distinct. She immediately tried to withdraw them.

Crack!

But a clear breaking sound was what she heard as the vines broke into multiple frozen parts, starting right at the area that was inside the frozen space.

Amelia’s expression didn’t change as she abandoned the two half vines and proceeded to summon another pair. The rest of the team weren’t staying idle either.

Glen had cast ice spikes, which he shot at the other team. Large ice spikes with stunning speed whistled through the air and flew toward the members of the Windmere Magic Academy.

Although the speed of the ice spikes was fast, the students from Windmere Magic Academy were able to react and perfectly dodge them; they even attacked with their own spells.

The lightning mage from Windmere Magic Academy cast lightning balls and tossed them at Glen’s ice spikes. It was as if Glen was purposely attacking him and preventing him from forming two star patterns. The mage would suddenly see an ice spike heading for his face whenever he summoned more than ten stars, he found this very frustrating.
