Chapter 122: Candy or magic item?
Alex didn’t use Void Walk after taking Clint and William for obvious reasons, same thing for Blink as well since it was a space spell and Mr Chen was known as a lightning mage.
His speed was extreme as he shuttled through the airspace of Balon City while dragging the two men along with him; they were like blurry shadows that flashed through the sky.
A few seconds later, Alex finally stopped and released his hold on the two men. Both of them were finally able to see properly, but their minds were currently disoriented. They placed both hands on their knees and bent their bodies slightly to recover before looking around.
In front of them was a villa with large windows and all of the rooms were lit up. Clint and William turned to look at Alex with a confused expression, wondering why he had brought them here.
"The remaining members of the Dark Union are here. Prepare to capture them," Alex said expressionlessly upon noticing their gazes.
The two men were shocked to hear this and their faces turned serious as they stared at the villa.
They didn’t know how Mr Chen was able to find out about the second base of the Dark Union, but they didn’t doubt him, considering that he had found the first one as well. The two of them got ready to fight.
The strength of the members of the Dark Union at the first base was pitifully weak, the stronger ones must be hiding here!
Alex took the first step, approaching the villa while the two men followed behind him.
But before they could reach the villa, figures appeared from the villa one after the other and landed in front of Alex; a distance of eleven meters between them, the figure in front was the little boy who was eating a lollipop while several adults in robes followed behind him.
"I didn’t expect us to have visitors. You must be Mr Chen, I’m not surprised that you managed to find this place." The little boy said while staring at Alex’s mask with a calm look in his eyes, he didn’t seem bothered that they had been discovered.
