Being Op With My Broken System: All Limits Have Errors

Chapter 78: leaving Balon City

Alex was surprised by Aunt Mia’s explanation about the Dark Union.

’So the Dark Union was like a powerful terrorist organisation that shouldn’t be provoked; they would kill anyone who is caught investigating them, and even people close to that person might be affected.’ Alex noted in his heart.

He wanted to ask more, but Mia advised him to drop the matter, if possible; she hoped that he would never have to come across the Dark Union in his life.

Since Mia was unwilling to continue on the matter, Alex decided to forget about it for the time being. He would investigate on his own later.

He was confident that no one would be able to figure out that he was Mr Chen, so he wasn’t afraid of the Dark Union, knowing that they were being investigated by his second identity.

As for the Dark Union coming to him because he was investigating them, Alex felt it would be the best outcome.

That would save him all the trouble of searching for them.

Silence returned to the truck, this silence wasn’t heavy with tension but was a relaxed one. Simon focused on driving the truck through the streets of Balon City; the rough-looking man in front and the two beside Alex at the back had their eyes closed while resting their backs on their seats.

As for Alex, he was staring at the scene outside through the windows on his sides; his head turning both sides periodically.

Although Balon City was one of the smallest cities in the country, it was a very large place with over a million people. Naturally, there were places that Alex had never been to despite spending his 18 years of life in this very City.

The trucks drove for over an hour before reaching the border where they would be exiting the city. The City obviously didn’t have just one border, and Alex had never been to this one before.
