"Is this thing called the star core the energy source for Falling Star City?" After the contract was finalized, Sunan turned his attention to the crystal-clear orb.
"Yes," Lize nodded, "It's a unique energy supply device developed by the Starfall Society."
Sunan was curious, "How does it differ from an elemental pool?"
"It has all the functions of an elemental pool and more. The star core can monitor energy particle fluctuations throughout Falling Star City and communicate unidirectionally with anyone within it."
Sunan's eyes lit up. While the energy supply function was standard, the other two functions piqued his interest.
"Is its range limited to Falling Star City?"
"Unless a larger star core is created, a single Falling Star City is the maximum range."
She paused before adding, "However, if it's just for communication, increasing energy consumption can extend the range, but not for long."
Sunan understood, "So you contacted Aida through the star core?"
"Yes," Lize admitted frankly.
