The Synthesis Wizard

Chapter 95: Bloodline Evolution, Rainbow Sea, and the Underground World

Sunan returned to his meditation room, the key from the trading house still in his hand but now unusable. He began to sort through the items he had acquired: over 300 wizard tomes, 500 gems, three rare metals, a Flameheart Potion, over 100 mandrake seeds, the Spiked Wingless Dragon skeleton, a vial of draconic blood, and more than 40 Red-Eyed Crow eggs. This trade had been a resounding success.

"Even though other wizard apprentices don't have a synthesis cube, they have their own resource channels. Trading with them grants access to rare resources not easily found otherwise," Sunan mused, satisfied with his decision to join Forest Cabin.

Organizing his gains, Sunan found that among the 300 tomes, there were 21 spellbooks: five zero-circle, eleven first-circle, and five second-circle spells, greatly enriching his collection. Thanks to his player panel, Sunan had the potential to master all spells given enough time, unlike other apprentices who could only specialize in a few.

"The more spells I master, the better I can adapt to unexpected situations. But for now, I'll focus on mastering second-circle spells, and leave the others for later."

The 500 gems were earmarked for crafting Stone Golems and synthesizing high-level rune gems. The Stone Golems would guard the new magical plant garden.

As for the high-level rune gems, Sunan's increased energy control as a level 3 wizard apprentice allowed him to synthesize 23 gems, up from 18. These gems' power had significantly increased. Testing with the Extreme Protection Ring, a single Thunder High-Level Rune Gem could deplete over 700 defense points, equivalent to being hit by eight second-circle spells simultaneously. Such power was unmatched by any second-circle defensive spell or alchemical-grade protective item, except the micro-glow level.

Importantly, as his mental power grew, the gems' might would continue to increase, making them a reliable trump card until he became a full-fledged wizard.

"Before advancing to a wizard, these gems will serve as a critical attack option. This trump card is indispensable."

He decided to craft five high-level rune gems and save the remaining gems for future needs.

Next, Sunan turned to the Flameheart Potion, consuming it in one gulp. The scorching liquid coursed through him, causing his skin to flush red, though the pain was negligible compared to the Evil Illusion Potion he had taken before. Once his body stabilized, he noted a 1.82 increase in constitution.

"Not bad at all."
